Feline Pathology
I cannot tell you how flattered I was to be invited to speak at this meeting alongside Prof. Brian Murphy and on my favourite topic too - feline pathology!

My lectures:
Where have cats come from?
Soft tissue sarcomas and FISS
Other common skin neoplasms
Non-neoplastic and ulcerative skin lesions
Lymphoma and the GIT
Liver and pancreas
Feline cardiac disease
Noses and Toes
And a special joint lecture with Brian on feline oral pathology

Bristol - BSVP Spring Meeting - speaking on Companion Animal Mycobacterial Disease
Another fun double act, this time with Dr. Conor O'Halloran of the University of Edinburgh

Our topic: Companion Animal Mycobacterial Disease

This time from both internal medicine and diagnostic pathology points of view!

World Feline Congress
Both presented a poster (watch this space for a cool publication coming soon!)
And another fun double act lecture; this time with Sam Taylor, feline internal medicine specialist discussing cholangitis, pancreatitis, chronic diarrhoea: when do I need antibiotics, when do I not?
Sam also very cleverly introduced the AI-cartoon version of me:

On-line Webinar Vet - PCR Unplugged.....
I was invited to deliver a webinar for the Webinar Vet and sponsored by ZYTCA, an exciting company that I have been doing some consultancy work for

The title was "PCR unplugged...." and it took a detailed look at how PCR works and also why understanding this matters when interpreting results

Check out ZYTCA's website here

and yes, I also had a play with AI cartoon generation....

Athens January 2025
I kick-started the year with a short trip to Athens. Despite a rather eventful journey due to thick fog at Schiphol (I don't recommend four countries and three time zones in one day)

I presented three lectures to vets in practice, at a conference organised by Vet in Progress
Getting the best out of histopathology
IHC and lymphoma
Canine MCT prognostication

I loved Athens very much and definitely want to return sometime (preferably via a direct flight!)

p.s. this tiny plane at the very end of the airport is the 21:20 flight from Schiphol to Norwich International, which lands at 21:10 (i.e. before it takes off)
It was my fifth flight in three days and I was feeling a little bit silly by this point!)
