This month has been all about planting seeds - oh so many seeds! And then potting them on. I have taken over the conservatory and it is now a germination and propagation room......

This past month has been about raised beds - one from last year had an autumn planting of garlic, onions and shallots as sets - they are growing, despite being nibbled - presumably by deer. I'm not sure how a leek from last year ended up in the middle...
The second one has leeks still in situ, although these are being eaten (by me, not deer) :-)
Deep mature applied for over winter (thanks to the goats and chickens). Willow and I made a little inspection.....
Husband has built a third raised bed, slowly being filled with soil.....
A fourth bed is under construction

And so it begins.....with a bit of planning
Today is sorting through seeds, what have I left from last year,
what do I want to grow again,
what new things do I want to try?
I now have so many seeds, and so I have been making a plan;
what needs planting in which month
what is going to go where;
greenhouse, polytunnel, raised veg patches, growbags, pots....
so excited, I can't wait to get started - I'll try and post updates as the weeks / months go by
but so far, all I have is about three boxes of seeds, and a notebook (both occupied....see below)
